Thanks for the comment Merrett. If you’d bother reading other posts on the blog, you’d see we’re anything but close-minded. I think what I, and others, have a problem with isn’t heels in general, but heels on a little baby. Specifically heels that yes, look like the ones skanks would wear. It’s not the shoe Merrett, it’s the context…..

Oh, I should add, one’s profession, say, like your example of a surgeon, doesn’t elevate one above skank status at all. Skankitude knows no socio-economic barriers.

I am sorry that everyone can not see the shoe for what it is…funny, cute, a “gag like” novelty…and further more the comments about “raising a skank, skanky bar look -a-like, prostitute section”, what about the lawyers that argue and win court cases everyday…they are in heels. Or, the surgeon that saves lives, when she gets dressed up for a romantic evening with her husband she wears heels…I wonder how your mother would feel if you thought those things about her because she wears heels….try not to be so close minded. Oh and for the last comment (from a female) I can only assume since that was your comment, that you don’t own a pair of heels. And if you did, does that make you a skank….
